Twisted Sisters Shop is really neat. The Fudge shop is very tasty. The Tavern for lunch was also tasty - had the chicken salad with seasonal veggies (squash, onions). The Amelia River Cruise (got our tickets the day before) was awesome (10:00 am Saturday, visited Fort Clinch State Park ($6 parking fee) and Fort Clinch ($2.50 entry fee paid in gift shop), saw the Carousel ???? House on Ash Street on our way to river cruise, had lunch at Salty Pelican after cruise (fresh caught red drum fish encrusted with crab Parmesan amazing!). Favorite restaurant while we were there - Wicked Bao (Natalie the owner was so friendly) and the food - oh so good. Fernandina Beach was very nice - lots of shells, some sea glass and sharks teeth. Fort Clinch also a very good place to find sharks teeth. Oh, and Pippy Longstocking's house from the movie was seen on the river cruise. We also saw dolphins, stingrays, a manatee, and wild horses on the cruise. We shopped at Bealls (pronounce bells), very reasonable, well kept, friendly employees. What a great vacation. I hope to go back next year if not sooner.
