Musician Jimmy Buffett arrived in Key West 50 years ago in 1971. This walking tour will take you to the locations around Old Key West that inspired his songs, where he played his first gig, some of his favorite watering holes, places he ate, bars he played in, and his recording studio. You will get to eat a slice of the best Key Lime Pie, before visiting the location of the first Margaritaville, Mallory Square, and end at Capt. Tony's Saloon with an alcoholic beverage.

Cannot say enough about this tour. Liz was great! Very knowledgeable about both Jimmy and Key West. Walked all around Old Town learning about the history and Jimmy’s role in the towns development as well as his own. It was clear Liz had done significant research and knew her stuff. Best 90 minutes you could spend not listening to music in Key West!

Overall a nice tour that hit numerous spots that were part of Jimmy Buffett's early days in Key West. However, the tour guide was only minimally knowledgeable about Buffett. He was a Buffett virgin, having never attended a Buffett concert and was unaware of Tom Corcoran's passing in January of this year. The tour guide even played it off when I asked if Tom had recently passed, because Jimmy had dedicated a concert earlier in the week (at the Key West theatre) to Tom, stating to me that Tom was such a big deal in Key West that he would have certainly heard of his passing. Not! Author Tom Corcoran, first mate to his Key West pal Jimmy Buffett, dies at 79 in Florida. Thomas Franklin Corcoran, 79, died on Jan. 16, 2023, in Lakeland, Florida, with his sister Carolyn Inglis and his friend Dinah George at his side, his family said in their obituary that was published in Corcoran’s hometown Cleveland newspaper. This tour could be a 5+ if the guide was actually a Parrothead and could relay stories of their Buffett concerts and encounters.

Our guide Caleb was very knowledgeable, and the 2 hour time flew by. This would be a good tour for fans that want to visit the places where Jimmy started out, and inspired some of his best loved songs.
