    After checking in at the tour center you will watch a brief video about the manatees, go over the rules of swimming and how to interact in a manner that is fun for both you and the manatees. You are then fitted for a wetsuit to prepare you for your snorkeling adventure. Your guides will photograph the highlights of your entire manatee swim tour from start to finish, both above and below the water. Upon returning to the tour center, a high-resolution picture CD containing images from your manatee tour will be available for you to purchase if desired.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Captain JJ and our in water guide Dave were amazing! They were super knowledgeable about all of the restoration work that has occurred to Kings Bay for the benefit of the manatees. Our in water swim with the manatee did not disappoint! They also took us to Hunter Springs to not only explore the spring but we were lucky enough to have a dolphin swim by! Get up and go early, you won’t regret it!

Our tour guide Trish and Captain Wade made this experience so much fun! We weren't on the boat 5 minutes before we hopped in the water to swim with the manatees. They educated us on so much about the manatees and how to safely swim with them. Trish took great pictures for us! It was a laid back experience and we weren't rushed at all. When we were done swimming with the manatees, we had time to go swim in one of the springs, which was a treat! We will definitely be back and will look forward to going out with Trish and Captain Wade. Thanks for a memorable time!
