Whenever I travel with my students for our competitions we plan an escape room as an activity so I have been to many in a lot of different states. The Asylum was a decent experience. The clues were pretty challenging
Employees seemed super friendly too!
Some cons about the room that I hope the owners take for constructive criticism….
The place is a bit run down. Bathroom a bit yucky, the clues were worn and torn, some clues didn’t really help in progressing to the next one, in some of the puzzles you knew the answer before solving because people have touched it so many times, even the signs you hold at the end are worn. Definitely needs a little TLC. The employees also communicate with you through walkie talkie and they are very hard to hear, need to get better audio. They also would say things when we didn’t ask for hints (which for us wasn’t a bad thing! lol), the room was so dark that 3 flashlights just isn’t enough if you have more than 3 people. If you didn’t have a light and people were spread out it was too dark to contribute.
