Come enjoy a day of paddling clear water, sand pine scrub, hammocks, pine flat woods and black water swamps. This trip offers a great opportunity to observe Alligators, the rare Black Bear, Manatee and numerous wading birds in their natural environment, all from the safety of your kayak.     We will paddle the boundary of the wilderness area for 7 miles.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • There is no minimum age, however all participants must know how to swim
  • It is recommended that you bring a swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera and wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

What a fun day! We viewed 17 gators, one manatee, many turtles, fish, birds and various vegetation as we kayaked downstream on a relaxing ride. The stretch down the St. John river was a bit of a workout as we dealt with boat wakes but a fun challenge. Our guide, Gina, was informative, and our group was small, which made it even more fun! We’d do an experience like this again!

Very exiting but also relaxing tour where we were able to enjoy the good things from the wild life with a very knowledgeable guide.

Made great new friends. Saw 17 alligators, 1 manatee, and a lot of other animals. The beginning was great. Lunch was provided and still thankful. At the end I flipped my kayak but hey it was a hot day and I wanted to go for a swim.
