Your host is an acknowledged wine expert and wine tour guide with 30 years experience and an in depth knowledge of wine and wine making across the world. The tasting takes place in the comfort of our wine cave in the heart of Carcassonne old town and is designed to be fun and informal. The evening can be booked as a private event for a minimum of 4 people up to 12. It is the perfect event for group of friends.

You certainly do get bang for your buck - the whole experience was lovely. Our host (whose name we have forgotten...maybe that was the lovely wine's fault) was extremely knowledge, friendly and welcoming. Due to not having enough spaces in the day, they were still able to accommodate us earlier slot to fit in with our holiday plans. We had a great time talking to our host about the wines and the wine making process. There were delicious cheeses, meat, olives and bread on offer. All sources from local shops. The bonus to add, is the host was not at all stingy with the amount of wine we were given. To summarise, it felt like a professional local business who welcomed us into their shop to chat about our mutual love of wine. We felt like we were talking to one of our friends; conversation flowed as freely as the wine. Highly recommend. Best thing we did in Carcassonne.

My sister and I spent a lovely hour plus with Tristram learning about local wines and getting a chance to try some we had never heard of. Tristram was very knowledgeable and his love of the region’s wines was infectious. He was patient with all our inquiries and the time flew by. We could not have imagined a better way to learn about Languedoc wines and their history. We highly recommend this experience and would give it a 6 if we could!!

En fantastisk lektion i vinprovning i allmänhet och Langeudocs druvor i synnerhet. Utöver de utlovade vinerna fick vi smaka på det som deltagare önskade.
