This tour is a sample of Burgundy, with scenic views, wines, vineyards, food and winemakers. After a transfer by minivan from Beaune, you’ll ride your bike mostly downhill. This tour is unique!

Easy booking advance process, super friendly staff, equipment was all in great shape, Valentin was an excellent guide and provided us with lots of fun & educational information. His presentation prepared us really well for understanding the tastings! He was supportive going up the big hill and engaged really well with everyone on the tour.

This was a really enjoyable day to see the beautiful wine making regions around Beaune with continual education throughout the day about the region, the appellations, wine making process and more. We biked through many towns and stopped at two wineries for tastings. The bikes were good quality. Upgrade to an e-bike was an added expense that was appreciated a few times during the journey. My only wish is that we could have stopped at the castle and a few more spots for photos along the way. Lunch was nice but only a selected menu available for our group. All in all a good day that we enjoyed. Eric was a very good guide.

What a terrific way to experience the Winemaking area of Côté de Beaune. Would definitely recommend an e-bike, not that the ride is strenuous, but it just makes it easier and more enjoyable. Éric was a terrific and knowledgeable guide. We met at their Bourgogne Evasion office in Beaune - an easy walk from centre ville and met the other 9 congenial riders. (Dress in layers- chilly to start but warm by the afternoon. No need for biking shorts - just be comfortable) Then rode by van up into the highest part of the region so as to start off with a beautiful panoramic view of the valley of winemaking below. Eric gave a wonderful explanation and overview of the area and day ahead. Several stops along the way to adjust bikes and have the first tasting of the simple Aligoté with a bite of cheese. Riding through the different vineyards and having explanations along the way gave such a better understanding of the different appellations and history of the Côte d’Or wines. We were so lucky to have seen the harvest in progress - all done by hand. Stopped at two different vineyards and lunch in between. Truly a fantastic day providing exercise, history, culture and great fun. Well worth every penny!
