Easy to get to by train from Toulouse - there is a mini bus that takes you up to the Cathedral from the station. Beautiful place, even in the pouring rain, everyone really friendly. Beautifully kept environs. Great shops. Toulouse Lautrec Museum very interesting - unfortunately ran out of time to visit the gardens.

Un fiasco ! Très mal conseillé. Je n ai pas pu voir la cathédrale car elle était fermé pour concert. Une arnaque commercial, il vaut mieux préparer soi-même ses sorties.

Albi ist eine malerische kleine Stadt mit vielen kleinen Boutiquen und Restaurants. Der Aufenthalt dort dauert ca 4 Stunden und reicht aus, um sich einen Eindruck von der Stadt sowie der imposanten Kathedrale Sainte Cécile zu machen. Anschließend fährt man mit dem bequemen Reisebus weiter ins mittelalterliche Dorf Cordes-sûr-Ciel, welches zahlreiche Kunsthandwerker beherbergt. Die angedachten rund 2 Stunden Aufenthalt sind allerdings meines Erachtens zu lang. Die meisten Mitreisenden haben sich eine Stunde vor Abfahrt in der nahegelegen Brasserie eingefunden, um bei einem Kaffee die Zeit bis zur Abfahrt zu überbrücken. Leider kam man nicht pünktlich in Toulouse an, sodass ich mein Abendprogramm verschieben musste. Es wäre besser gewesen, früher aus Cordes abzufahren. Alles in allem war es ein empfehlenswerter Ausflug.
