This is where we will visit a family of independent producer/grower with explanations on the Champagne making process, visit to the press, winery and cellar. You will taste 3 100% Grand Cru Champagnes with tasting advice to discover the different "Blanc de Blancs" such as natural Champagne without dosage, brut, vintage or even aged in oak barrels. We will also pass through other famous villages such as Chouilly and Avize, in front of the largest bottles factory and near the famous "Chateau de Saran", the ultra private property where the luxury LVMH group (who owns Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Krug ...) receives its biggest customers and VIPs as well as the "Montaigu site" dedicated to the champagne making of Moët & Chandon.

You will have the chance to discover it along with 2 other alcohols : Fine de la Marne and Marc de Champagne from the famous Goyard Distillery in Aÿ created in 1911, who is the oldest one in Champagne. *Depending on the season/weather, you will enjoy this special tasting in the vineyard or at the family grower domain.

I visited the region solo and had a great afternoon with Marine as my guide. It was perfectly paced, and she had a lot of knowledge about Épernay and champagne. She arranged a lovely visit to Jean Milan in Oger where we toured the winery. We also stopped at some beautiful overlooks throughout the day. There is nothing I would have changed. Merci, Marine!

Very nice tour along the Cote du Blancs, with viewpoints, a bit of history, explanation about the making process, and a tasting at a grand cru house. The guide was lovely. Why I don’t give a 5 star review: it’s too basic for people who are educated in wine/champagne, and it would have been nice to visit some more houses.
