With this walking tour you get to try a few different classic flavors from Lyon of charcuterie, cheeses and sweets. At the same time you walk through the medieval quarter of the old city and get a first sense of the typical afor this city. We got a decent walk and a good idea of, admittedly a few 'tourist traps' (as all similar cities have), but nothing that felt annoyingly tacked on or unnecessary, just a good orientation in the innermost soul of the city. The 'secret' shortcuts through certain cellars were exciting to experience and what we got to taste was mostly good (the cheese won!), but you also learn just as much about what has value as what you can avoid for the rest of your stay. Nice and knowledgeable guide!
