Experienced professional local guide Arnaud of Gold Beach Company was very knowledgeable of war history. Always patient & answered our questions respectfully. Enjoyed the personal story of his grandmother being part of the French Resistance. Arnaud’s narration of the most important facts was appropriate for the short duration of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Our family had a great experience with this tour. We really amazed with the history details that had been explained by our guide during our visit to the historical places from WWII.

Our guide Arthur did a nice job explaining the events of June 6 and help bring them to life. Our tour left Bayeux and was 5 hours long and our only complaint was we had a very short amount of time at each stop to linger and explore on our own. For example at the American cemetery we stopped as a group for about 5 minutes of comments from Arthur and then had only about 10 minutes to explore the grounds ourselves. Much too short to experience such a place
