My adult son and I had a wonderful day with Melanie in her sporty Citroen. On a chilly October morning, we roamed thru vineyards on tiny roads, sometimes with the windows open. We stopped often. Melanie explained so much about the Burgundy region and showed us each vineyard we passed on the map. We learned about climat and terroir and why each wine produced is so individualized based on the different soil and sun exposure. The wine tasting was wonderful and I ordered some bottles to ship home. Melanie grew up in Burgundy and was happy to refer us to other places to visit and we made some wonderful connections. The morning was perfect and I would highly recommend this tour.

Oh man, where do I begin. I have been traveling to France for over a decade, and this trip was one of the very best experiences I have ever had. Gaetan's passion for Burgundy was infectious, and he has real love for the places he shows you. He also has lived there for most of his life (including his childhood) so you are learning about Burgundy from someone who knows is better than most. He has a fantastic energy, obviously loves his life, and wants to share the best of his life with you. What an awesome guide! As for the tour itself - the car was wonderfully charming, the wine tasting were delicious, and the scenery was stunning. The back roads we went on belonged in a chapter from eat, pray love. The whole trip was a dream, and I cant wait to do it again when I return.
