    When you reach the Versailles Palace, go directly to the restaurant "ORE" to have your breakfast, Once in, you will enjoy the first wonder of this UNESCO world heritage listed monument by having a succulent French breakfast in the Ore Ducasse Restaurant. This restaurant is managed by one of the famous chefs who chose the best French bread and croissants for you to taste. After having your breakfast, one of the staff from the restaurant will lead you straight to in front of the queue to skip all the lines and get you inside the palace. Then, you will be free to visit the palace on your own path. After the visit, you will have the possibility to walk into the gardens to discover the surprising fountains hidden in the bushes. Those fountains can only be seen from April to October and will need an additional fee.

Overall this was worth it for the price, experience, and convenience. You head to the palace and go straight to the Ore restaurant with a reservation under your name. We were 15 mins early and staff let us be seated. The service and food was ok… it did the job as we were hungry in the morning. You get the choice of hot drink (coffee or tea), juice (orange, pineapple… recommend the pineapple), and eggs (scrambled or fried) with 2 sausages and 1 baguette. Afterwards, staff will give you the passport ticket into the palace. The perk is that you get to by pass the line to the palace through a hidden door that will take you to the front of the line. Waited maybe 5 minutes and went straight in. There’s 2 passes included with this excursion- the passport ticket that will be given after breakfast (entry into the palace, the grand Trianon, petit Trianon, hamlet). It also includes a pass into the garden which is a separate ticket (the garden ticket was sent via email). The passport ticket will not work for the garden. We almost bought garden tickets (10 euros each) but remembered that we had the garden ticket emailed the night before. Do not buy any tickets in Versaille as everything is included with this!!!

Great breakfast prior to entry to the palace. The tour contained room after room of spectacular features to include paintings of the era and ceiling frescoes. It was almost overwhelming. We missed the gardens due to a rainfall deluge, but the palace was amazing.

What an awesome experience. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Beautifully decorated restuarant with a skip the queue secret door. Well worth it. I didn’t realise that it didn’t include the gardens so please keep that in mind.
