ParaPoly - The Urban Adventure Game is a game with components of scavenger hunt, escape game and city tour, combined into a real-life board game. Starting from a central square in the city, the tour takes you to famous places, important monuments and interesting corners. Existing elements are used for the game: buildings, monuments, streets, statues - this is how history comes alive. The tasks were designed by escape game developers. And just like in an escape room, each game has its own mission, which is integrated into a story along with the places you visit and the tasks you have to solve. ParaPoly is suitable for everyone who likes to play games, be it a parlour game, escape room, scavenger hunt or city rally, everyone who loves adventure, likes to solve puzzles, does not shy away from 2-3 km of walking and likes to experience something in a group. You can play as a couple or even in six, with grandparents and children (children under the age of 12 (approx.) can play along, but need explanations for most of the puzzles.

Really enjoyed this game to get to know Frankfurt! Make sure you have access to wifi if possible otherwise be ready to walk around lots to try to connect into different free wifis in the area. We sometimes found it tricky to connect due to not having a good wifi system. The team were really helpful and available to answer any questions or help with clues when we got stuck once. Would definitely recommend!

Es war eine bombastisch gute Erfahrung! Das Spiel ist sehr durchdacht und technisch hervorragend simpel aufgebaut. Bei den ersten Stationen haben wir zwar noch etwas Hilfe benötigt, danach lief aber alles von allein. Wir waren schon sehr oft in Frankfurt, haben aber durch Parapoly viele Ecken gesehen, in denen wir vorher nie waren und sonst wahrscheinlich auch nie hingekommen wären. Wir haben erstmal gemerkt, wie schön Frankfurt eigentlich ist - abseits des ganzen Trubels und der Hektik. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass man sich das Spiel zeitlich einteilen kann. Nach einigen Stationen haben wir erstmal Pause gemacht und uns zum Mittagessen in ein Lokal begeben. Danach ging es gestärkt und mit frischem Kopf weiter! Wir können Parapoly von ganzem Herzen empfehlen und werden es mit Sicherheit auch noch in anderen Städten unternehmen. Eine klare 10/10!

We had to ask for hints on every item...not fun at all. The game map would only print on A4, not letter, so we went to the Local Dealer store to get a game map, and it was in German only. I was informed at the time of purchase this game would be in English, but only the site and clues were. I would not recommend this game as some of the answers had nothing to do with the clues. If you wanted an explanation, you had to email them asking how they came up with the answer...pfft. Not fun. The kid did most of the work and got some of it by watching the videos.
