You will be fascinated by anecdotes about how my grandmother made pasta and what cooking represented in the past and still represents. An immersion in the real Apulian life and in Italian sociology! I will let Elisa, my friend and super expert collaborator in Apulian pasta, communicate with gestures and by example; he speaks only Italian but will manage to communicate with his heart and experience as always. And, once at home, you will produce your own good food yourself, and you will be reminded of what she has shown you. Instead, I will communicate, if necessary also simultaneously, in English, Italian and French and you will probably laugh at my linguistic "flights" and my role as "slave in Elisa's kitchen" :-) The lunch that follows is collaborative, everyone helps and, dishes and pans in the hands. The wine, the foods that I serve together with the pasta that we prepare together and that are all local and largely the fruit of my organic garden, do the rest.

The cooking class with Manuela was lovely! She really made ourselves feel at home in her house. We created two types of pasta, Orecchiette and Cavatelli, and she was great at instructing us on how to shape the pasta. We shared a tasty meal and other typical Puglian dishes. Time flew by. We can absolutely recommend this experience!

What a wonderful time making and eating pasta in Manuela's little slice of heaven ! She's a charming host, a wonderful teacher, a great cook and has a vast and beautiful heart ????

En séjour dans les Pouilles entre copines, nous avons eu envie d'une véritable expérience italienne pour prendre le temps et découvrir la culture locale mais aussi faire de belles rencontres. C'est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé chez Manuela ! Manuela parle parfaitement français (et adore ça!) et c'est un plaisir d'échanger avec elle. Généreuse, souriante, bienveillante et heureuse de partager ses anecdotes sur la cuisine et son pays, elle nous a accueillies à bras ouvert. On a beaucoup parlé, beaucoup ri aussi et surtout appris à faire des pâtes comme des pros (ou presque ????). Ensuite, on prépare la table pendant que Manuela s'affaire en cuisine avec toujours l'un de nous à ses côtés pour poser des questions. Un vrai repas de famille où tout le monde se sent chez soi. Nous avons mangé : la Foccacia, la frittata préparée par Manuela, nos pâtes mais aussi le pain et les burrata des Pouilles tout en goûtant le vin local aussi. Un festin heureux dans un endroit charmant à la campagne entourés des poules et des chats. Merci Manuela pour ce moment unique !
