Accompany me on a leisurely stroll through Aquileia to explore the most beautiful corners of this former royal seat of the Roman emperors - and a Unesco world heritage site. River harbor, forum, residential buildings, necropolis and the grave road. We visit the Duomo of Aquileia, its priceless and very well preserved floor mosaics. I will tell you about the development from an imperial residence to a patriarchal seat. After the lunch break, I would be happy to show you around the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia if you wish. Great experience... Visited the Basilica... a sight for our eyes to see the mosaics... and all the workmanship ..

Basilica a ter navate, magnifico il mosaico tra le due navate laterali, il pavimento a mosaico è il più esteso tra tutti i mosaici dell'occidente cristiano. Degna di una visita anche l'area archeologica.
