    Wat Phra Si Sanphet Temple was considered the holiest of all in ancient Ayutthaya. The temple was exclusively used for royal ceremonies until it was destroyed by Burmese in 1767. It still leaves its visitors spellbound with its royal splendor and glory.

    Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit is a large assembly hall that houses the Phra Mongkhon Bophit, one of the largest bronze Buddha statues in Thailand sculpted in 1538. The term "Viharn" refers to an assembly hall in a Buddhist temple, while "Phra Mongkol Bophit" is the name of the Buddha statue it houses. The statue was relocated and preserved under various Thai kings, and experienced a series of restorations after incidents such as lightning strikes and fire damages.

My son and I had a great day with Armeen! He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were his first tour since Covid and he was nervous about his English, but it was very good. I highly recommend this tour and Armeen!
