Marvel at the wonder of these mountains, and the stunning history of the area. First, meet at a bar in the city centre, where you are able to purchase a relaxing breakfast or coffee before we head out. Then after a bus ride up to the bottom of the mountain, we continue up the beautiful mountain roads, all the way up to the magnificent Montserrat Monastery. Enjoy many photo opportunities as you gaze at the beauty of the mountain, before having a history tour of the monastery level. After, there is free time to either go hiking in the magical hills, enjoy an all you can eat lunch looking out over mystical views, or explore the museum and discover all about the history of this famous landmark. Then it is back on the bus as we head back to Barcelona where you can experience an evening in the city. Please note that tickets to Basilica, Throne Room & Choir are not included! Yet we heavily insist on buying ticket to these in advance for anyone wanting them

What a surprise. Well organized trip by bus up to Mount Serrat and so much to do and see there, especially if you like to hike. We had about 3 hours of free time which was great but we decided we want to go back to do some things we didn’t get to. There are 2 hotels there and we will probably stay overnight next time. Still this trip was a great introduction to the place.

I only had 3 days for site seeing while I was in Barcelona. A friend recommended that I visit Montserrat. I purchased this ticket the evening before the trip. Francesco was an amazing, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. In this tour, we spent about 1 hour on the bus on the drive there and then 1 hour with Francesco giving us the history of the area. We then had about 3 hours on our own to explore. The drive up the mountain was very beautiful. Really enjoyed hearing the history. Francesco gave us a lot of information about what we can visit and see while we were there. Every sight was more beautiful then the previous. Took the finicular up to the top and also toured the cathedral which was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour and visit. One of my highlights of my trip to Spain!

Wish we had about an extra hour or two to explore more. We simply ran out of time and felt rushed and zero time to eat. Very friendly guide and the ride to and from was very comfortable.
