I went on a full-day tour to northern Armenia with Guram Gurashvili. Guram was an excellent guide, and a very safe driver! He knows a lot about Georgian and Armenian history, and was an excellent conversationalist. HIs English is very good. We went to Dilijan, an old resort town that is being renovated, and Lake Sevan, which is a huge, high lake in the steppe region. Saw many beautiful landscapes, ate the local trout from Lake Sevan, and had a great time all around.
