You will be able to sample a variety of Japanese traditional foods. Special options that are unique and only available in the region of Fukuoka are also included. A small amount of walking is included for optional sightseeing as we move from locations.     We will experience many different types of gourmet foods and drinks on the day. Ranging from top end offerings to everyday street food. They are all delicious beyond compare! Between tastings we can visit some well known nearby sightseeing attraction to develop our appetite for the next course. A Sake Brewery, Micro Beer and Green Tea tastings will round out the drinks portion of the tour and for those with a sweet tooth of course a dessert option is available.

Shannon was amazing! His creativity with our excurion kept us on our toes - very special memoires, especially shopping in a japanese market for our picnic lunch.

Shannon is the BEST !!! We (4 adults) did a private tour with Shannon and could not have been more satisfied. He was punctual, friendly, professional, funny, flexible and met our every need. We picked him because of his excellent reviews and he managed to surpass our expectations. Shannon is Australian but is married to a Japanese woman and has 2 children - what a wonderful combination ! He is fluent in both English and Japanese and was also able to give us both a western and Japanese perspective on Japanese culture and customs, current affairs and WWII - we were able to ask questions that we might have been uncomfortable asking a native guide. Shannon helped us experiment and experience Japanese cuisine and could anticipate what our western palate would enjoy and also have trouble with. Shannon also took photos of us throughout our tour and sent us a wonderful slide show and video when we got home. All 4 of us had the best time of our lives - THANK YOU Shannon !!!

Shannon is very competent and really nice person. He gives back ground information and is very skilled regarding Japanese behaviors. As Australien living for 20 years in Japan his English is highly understandable. We travelled with him with family and with friends and each time he gave a special and wonderful experience worth every Yen we paid. In Nagasaki we have had a wonderful picknick and in Fukuoka we had the best Ramen ever. Last trip his daughter supported us buying a Jukata (Summer Kimono) and this was an amazing experience. If you want to have a wonderful time with as many highlights as possible join Shannon. We would give him 6 Stars out of 5 :-). Thank you Shannon, you are the best tour guide we ever had.
