Muir Woods in the morning and City Tour in the afternoon In the Morning: Start in Fisherman's Wharf then over the Golden Gate Bridge North to the Muir Woods National Monument to see the giant redwoods. Your visit inside the park is self-guided. Your guide will be waiting for you after your park visit. Stop at Muir Beach Overlook to catch a view of the Pacific Ocean. Fantastic experience! Our tour guide Susan mapped out the day perfectly, was fun and knowledgeable, and a very safe driver. We had an incredible day and A plus weather. I highly recommend the Jeep tours to anyone visiting.

Fantastic way to see the city during a short visit! Only had 2 days in the city and wanted to try and see if all. Booked the full day tour. Saw Muir Woods in morning with Katya(sp?) and the city in afternoon with Andy. Was so happy I did the full day tour, and if I had chosen just one of the shorter tours, I probably would have skip the Muir woods one. That would have been a mistake. Drive there was great. Katya provided info/history the entire ride. Got to stop for a few scenic views of Golden Gate bridge. Muir Woods itself was peaceful and serene. Definitely recommend making sure to do it in the AM before the crowds start coming in. Redwood trees were definitely impressive in person. Drive back thru Sausilito, which was not my or my wifes thing, Nice to drive thru but didn't really see a need to stop. Drive back to Jeep Tour HQ in Fishermans Wharf. Had lunch and then back in Jeep for City portion of tour. Got to see so many neighborhoods and hear some of the local info about the city with Andy. Got out to see the Painted Ladies and walk around the park. Walked down Mural Alley in Mission District. Climbed twin Peaks for a great view of the city.
