    Today we visit the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Departing your hotel at 8.00 am, you begin with first stop at Pre Rup Hindu temple built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

  • Banteay Srei, Siem Reap, Cambodia
    Continue a drive for the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srei. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia. Banteay Srei has only been accessible since the late 1990s, when the Khmer Rouge left the area. We end our touring at Angkor with lunch at the temple (own expense), and a short rest.

Preah Khan is currently being restored by the World Monument Fund and in places is in remarkably good condition.

Thank you Sak tour guide & Mr Black good safe driver. This is a must do tour in addition to Angkor wat. Sak was engaging and provided many good details & history, I learnt interesting details. Sak was also a great photographer took great pictures. Cannot miss seeing these amazing temples especially ‘pink’ temple Banteay Srei. I highly recommend this tour.

Die Tour war unglaublich und ich kann sie wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Mr. Black ist ein wirklich guter und sehr aufmerksamer Fahrer. Er hat uns stets mit Wasser und kalten Tüchern versorgt, die bei dem warmen Wetter Gold wert waren. Es ist schön anzusehen, mit welcher Begeisterung Mr. Sak (Tourguide) seiner Arbeit nachgeht. Zudem hat er ein riesen Wissen, welches deutlich über das der "Standard Tourguides" hinausgeht. So sieht er nicht nur Kambodscha bzw. dessen Tempel isoliert, sondern zieht zum Vergleich auch andere Meisterwerke (bspw. Chichen Itza in Mexiko) heran. Mr. Sak hat ein Talent fürs Fotografieren. Es ist toll diese unglaublichen und witzigen Bilder als Erinnerung an diese Tage zu haben.
