Get to know one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica, the Poás Volcano with 2,708 m high, which is located just a few minutes from the city of San José, where we pick you up directly where you can find lodged to take you to see the Great Colossus On the way to the Volcano you will be able to delight in the beautiful views of the Milk, Strawberry and ornamental plants farms as well as the large coffee plantations which stand out for the large amount observed on the way, once we arrive at the Volcano. We will take you to enjoy a delicious typical Lunch which is included in the tour. Once we are satisfied we will go to La Peace Waterfalls where you will be amazed with the immense this waterfall that this area gives us. We had a wonderful day. Due to the rain season we squeezed most outdoor activities in the morning and left the things that are less good weather dependent for the afternoon, which worked perfectly. Our tour guide Rick was fantastic, told us much about the land and the people. I enjoyed seeing the coffee farms, the volcano, the wildlife, the waterfall. Rick was also super helpful chosing lunch (including all allergies). Only thing we did not see was the lake. Maybe next time ;-) All in all amazing day and I can recommend!

It was an excellent experience, in one day we had the opportunity to visit different landscapes and know the whole coffee production process. The guide Carlos makes it spectacular, has a lot of experience and explained everything very well. The volcano is impressive and very worth seeing in activity.

We loved the experience, it was just lovely, we really liked the experience with Charlie, he was a phenomenal guide, he cared all the time about us and was attentive to get to know everything, his explanation was very adequate and very complete. We were delighted, thank you very much!!
