He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to crown prince . The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

Amazing! Very customized and knowledgeable. Ragab and his team are very responsive and good at customizing tours. Our guide, Khalid, did a great job sharing the history of Egypt with us. Out of the four tours we've taken while here, Khalid was by far the most informative guide. He also took amazing pictures for us. Karnak Temple is massive but we got plenty of time to roam and take pictures. The tombs at the Valley of the Kings were incredible. King Tut's tomb is incredibly small, so if you pay the extra 300£ to see it, don't get your hopes too high. Lunch wasn't bad either. It was a great tour.
