   Essaouira, the beautiful drawing, nicknamed the pearl of the Atlantic, known from the 14th century under the name of Mogador. Located 170 km north of Agadir surrounded by ramparts, it is called the city of the winds. Its white Medina with blue doors and windows is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. ''There is only one tower where i know i'd like and be locked up forever, even to die there rather than return the keys- MOGADOR IN AFRICA-'' Paul claudel. Essaouira continue to inspire many artists and international film makers, and the city is often used as a film location. Orson Welles'othello was the first foreign feature film shot in Essaouira in 1952.

We’ve just had a great full day trip from Agadir to Essaouira with our driver and guide, Rachid. He was extremely courteous, a skilful, careful driver, and a knowledgeable guide. He looked after us well, ensuring our safety and security at all times. This tour takes you through beautiful,rugged countryside and you get a real insight into rural life. Rachid included a visit to a women’s Cooperative producing Argan products. Fascinating. Essaouira itself is a very interesting town and we enjoyed wandering around for an hour or two after an excellent fish lunch overlooking the ocean. There’s plenty to see, lovely buildings and a lively atmosphere in the Médina. We really appreciate Rachid’s efforts - he gave us a great day out !

Door omstandigheden annulleerde ik deze uitstap 3 dagen voor geplande trip en vroeg een email met bevestiging. Deze heb ik nooit gekregen. Een dag voor de trip krijg ik de melding dat de trip gewoon doorgaat. Waarop ik verwees naar mijn annulatie. Dan kreeg ik te horen dat ik moest annuleren via tripadvisor. Geld zou ik nooit terug krijgen. Hoe kan ik dit benoemen? Ik noem het gansterpraktijken. Verantwoordelijk Bouchaib SEDDIK Gerant 00212 661 178 081.
