The protected landscape area Bohemian Paradise (in Czech Český ráj) is a nature reserve about 90 km north-east of Prague. We will travel there by train (the ride takes 2 hours one way). You will discover there the ruins of Zbirohy castle, rock labyrinth named Kalich–Chléviště and many spectacular viewpoints giving you a stunning panorama of Malá Skála village, Jizera river, Vranov castle and Frýdštejn castle. You will enjoy the remarkable beauty of the landscape and numerous historic landmarks, bizarre rock formations and deep pine forests. If infants and/or children are participating, the itinerary of the trip will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate these age groups.

    The Zahrádka lookout point, located at the end of the Vranovský hřeben ridge at 60 metres above the Jizera River, offers beautiful views of the Malá Skála area; the view of the Suché skály rocks is especially impressive.

Full day immersion, among others in Bohemia Paradise with Andrej, who is not only a very skillful hiker but also an enthusiastic travel buddy. 7 years in Czech Republic and it’s only now I discover its most beautiful places thanks to Nomad Society. I recommend for everyone wishing to explore this wonderful land’s hidden treasures!
