Full-Day Private Sightseeing Tour of Cairo Highlights with Lunch

Our tour guide was intelligent, personable and caring. He explained to us, just before entering each area, what we were about to see. Once inside he continued to explain what we were seeing in more detail. The repetition was very helpful and never overbearing. With a master’s degree in Egyptology and certified by the Cairo Museum, Medhat could easily answer every question we had. I was impressed that he could tell us the opinions of other experts and then explain the reason for his view. He clearly continued to keep abreast the latest finds and developments. Medhat knowledge of Cairo and other cities enhanced our experience. For instance, he knew just the right place for lunch. After visiting the pyramids, we found ourselves in a restaurant with a perfect view of them. It could not have been better. The visit to a family farm in Dahshur was unexpectedly peaceful. Getting to see village life that did not included vendors and tourist traps was a joy. Our pick ups and drop offs at the hotel were always on time. The van was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned when needed. We were supplied with water everyday. The drivers do one thing and that is drive. We always felt safe. The communication between the guide and driver made everything effortless for us.. The most important thing was that our guide, Medhat, takes great pride in his country’s history and the culture. He wanted to make sure we got a balanced view and learned as much as possible. That is exactly what we wanted from our time in Egypt.

This tour was awesome. Our guide Shaima from Nefertity tours was fabulous. She was polite, gentle and very helpful. She did her best to give us an excellent tour of Giza pyramids, Coptic cairo, bazar and museum. I asked for some changes and add some other spots in Cairo to visit and they nicely accommodate my request. Very professional and nice.
