This was the best private tour we have been on in a long time. Maria was so responsive even before we arrived on the island. She personalized the tour down to the minute details and took us to many places that were not even on our list. She was so kind and accepting and even took us around to see her family and friends. It was like we were part of the family. Tons of snacks and wonderful food, and she was so incredibly intelligible about the island. Definitely worth the time and the money.

Maria was an amazing guide. She has a deep understanding of the history of the area, which made the experience come alive. The way she presented the places she took us, and in the order she presented them, gave us a real appreciation of Crete and its place in history. Not having to deal with or wait for strangers in a larger group also made the experience more personal. Her choice for lunch was amazing. I highly recommend her!
