Wir haben mit einer Reisegruppe an einer Führung durch die Stadt teilgenommen. Die Reiseleiterin gestaltete ihr Führung sehr interessant und abwechslungsreich. Interessant für uns, dass die Polen einen völlig andere Sichtweise auf die Geschichte Polens haben als wir Deutsche. Aus Sicht der Polen, so ist zu mindestens unser Eindruck gewesen, ist die jetzige polnische Republik einen Fortsetzung der Piastenherrschaft aus dem 14.Jahrhundert - die lediglich durch 300 Jahre deutscher Herrschaft unterbrochen wurde.
