I would highly recommend the Old Dhaka City Tour for anyone who is interested in visiting Dhaka. My guide Bappi was a friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable guy who takes good care of tourists.
The tour itself gives you an insight into Old Dhaka that you'd never be able to get travelling on your own and would have taken me at least 3 days to achieve alone. This point I can't stress enough, and is why this tour really is a must.
The tour will take you through the chaotic traffic of Dhaka to historic sites such as the Lalbagh Fort, the Ahsan Manzil museum and the Armenian church among other sites.
The tour also brings you to popular local restaurants. For those of you with sensitive stomachs like myself, there is no need to be worried as the food was delicious and I had no ill effects. The local Biryani was fantastic and is a must try.
Dhaka itself is a BUSY city and the traffic is not for the feint hearted. However, this adds to the character of the city which really shines when going down the streets of old Dhaka. The people are very friendly and curious, so don't be surprised if the locals wish to take a photo with you.
A great a experience in a unique place.
