The Euston War Memorial is a stone obelisk with 4 soldier statues at the base, located by the Euston Square gardens, outside the station on the Euston roadside.     Start your experience with a short film in the cinema before you enter the iconic Great Hall set. Your guide shares production secrets and inside information and tells you about the processes used to bring the films to life. Take a look inside Dumbledore’s office, and walk along cobbled Diagon Alley, which features the shop fronts of Ollivanders, Flourish and Blotts, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Gringotts Bank, and Eeylops Owl Emporium. Visit the original Hogwarts Express locomotive and a recreation of Platform 9 ¾. Climb aboard the train carriage and pose with a luggage trolley as it disappears through the platform wall. Other sets you can see include the Gryffindor common room, the boys’ dormitory, Hagrid’s Hut, the Potions classroom, and Professor Umbridge's office at the Ministry of Magic.     Although my husband and I did not go on this tour with our “kids” and grandkids, they were all brimming over with happiness upon returning from it. It was not only the grandchildren who so enjoyed the day, but our own “children” ages 49 & 53, who were absolutely thrilled. They all came pouring into our room after the tour, babbling with excitement and happiness over the wonder of the day (and the adults are not even Harry Potter fans). It is not often that one sees forty and fifty-year-olds looking just as happy and thrilled as kids.

    On time and prompt! Very easy and fluid getting into all the exhibits. I do wish we had a bit more time at each location, however, being so far outside of London and visiting three sites we were still able to see all of the "highlights" with additional time on your own at the end to see a bit more and grab a snack, if you wish.

    The logistics of getting us from London to the studio was smooth. The tour guide was amiable and knowledgeable. The tour itself was quite interesting. (Note that I’m fan of movies and Harry Potter.) My two points of critical feedback (and why I gave a rating of 4 out of 5 stars) are: 1) the tour went at a very fast pace (there was so much to see, I think the poor guide felt the need to race through explanations, and it was just a little stressful; and due to a short time for the lunch break and a slow-moving line at the restaurant, my family had—no exaggeration—9 minutes to eat); and 2) the $275 price per person was steep, given the experience.
