Elafonissi Beach Elafonissi is located 76km west of Chania in the southwestern most point of Crete. Elafonisi is an oblong, which often "breaks" in two parts by water giving the impression of being a separate island. Elafonissi is a “Natura 2000” protected area. The island is full of dunes with sand lilies and junipers (like-cedar trees). The endangered turtles Caretta-Caretta and several rare animals nest on the island and it is strictly forbidden to remove any plants, animals from the area. Exotic beach with white sand and turquoise waters, reminding of the Caribbean, are formed on either sides of the peninsula. The sand is pinkish in many places, taking its color from thousands of broken shells.

Tolle Tour , hervorragend geplant, der Busfahre und die Reiseleiterin sind wircklich total nett und gejen einem viele Infomationen zu den tollen Dingen die man während der Fahrt sehen kann und der Strand war rin Träumchen wir sind immernoch total begeistert . Alles in einem einfach ein toller Tag mit toller Reiseleitung . Wir würdeb die Tour aufjedenfall wieder buchen und werden sie auch weiterempfehlen !!! Jeden cent wert!

C sur c une très belle plage, le rosé du sable il faut le chercher. es uns sur les autres à la plage trop prisé . Qd a ce voyage … Tripadvisor ne vous dit pas l adresse exact du lieu de rdv . Pas mal d échange de mail avec le tour opérator sans qu il réponde forcément à vos questions. Je pense qu il faut mieux s adresser à son hôtel directement pour l organisation . Que passer par Tripadvisor. A noter si vous parter depuis Rethymnon compter 3h de bus.
