Upon arrival at Baltra airport, our guide will be waiting for you with an easily identifiable sign with your name to assist you in the transfer from the airport exit to the Itabaca Channel, here you will take the ferry to cross to Santa Cruz Island where our private vehicle will be waiting for you.

Our first visit will be the giant tortoise reserve where we can observe them in their natural state, and then have an interesting walk in the lava tunnels, curious formations in which we can learn about the history and formation of the Islands. Finally our guide will accompany you to your place of accommodation.

    Upon arrival at the Galapagos airport on Baltra Island, you must present your documents and pay the entrance fee to the Galapagos National Park, after which you can take your luggage and upon your departure our guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name. From here our guide will assist you at all times and we continue in a transport (cost included in the rate) to the end of the Island to the so-called Itabaca Channel

  • Canal de Itabaca, Ecuador
    We leave the transport and go to the dock of the channel, we embark (the cost is included) and put the life jackets that will be provided once full, the ferry makes a short navigation to the island in front that is Santa Cruz.

  • Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, Ecuador
    We get off the ferry and our transport will be waiting for you, (from here the transfer will be private since the previous segment is not possible all passengers share land transport and the ferry) and the first stop will be the Giant Tortoise Reserve.

  • Rancho Primicias, Ecuador
    We arrive at the Giant Tortoise Reserve where we can walk through its forests of small shrubs to observe the giant Galapagos tortoises in their natural state. Our guide will inform about the flora and fauna of the place. This is a great place to take pictures very close to these calm giants, then hike to observe the lava tunnels

    Finally we will arrive in Puerto Ayora, the populated area of Santa Cruz, where our guide will drop you off at your hotel.

I would not recommend this tour operator because we did not complete one of the activities (visting the Tunel de Lava Bellavista) , as per the tour itinerary. I contacted the tour operator repeatedly after the trip, both via email and WhatsApp, but to no avail.

Great tour. Our guide Jefferson was informative, patient, and accommodating to our family needs. There is no shortage of tortoises to be seen at the ranch. And the food at the ranch was outstanding as well.

Jefferson did such a great job picking us up at the airport on time, helping us with bags, navigating the trip directly to our hotel. Along the way he told us facts about the islands, made an extra stop at a sinkhole, took us to the turtle preserve and made us laugh putting on the turtle shell. He also guided us through the lava tunnels. We had a great time! Recommend booking this tour
