During the tour you will get to experience a taste from artisan producers, cheese makers, creative beer projects, artisan chocolatiers, traditional family run businesses to young entrepreneurs with devotion and commitment to showcase the best of Irish produce. With experienced & local guides, giving you the insights to our favorite places and treasured ingredients.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Clare was a lovely hostess. We loved the variety of experiences between traditional Irish food and updated Galway food experiences. The visit to O’Connells was a quaint visit to the past and the more updated Sushi, chocolate and Murphy’s ice cream experience was crazy interesting. Highly recommended!

We had a great time on the Galway Food Tour with our guide Sorcha. There were about 12 people (including us) on the tour, but it didn't feel overwhelming. Sorcha was easy-going and knowledgeable, and incorporated fun and humor into the tour - she also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay. This was a great way to try some Irish culinary classics and some unexpected bites, as well, with both savory and indulgent foods to sample. Brands with sustainability were highlighted throughout the tour, which felt thoughtful and interesting. The tour is also only a few hours, so you can plan other excursions for your day in addition, if desired. I would definitely recommend!

We really appreciated Sorcha's sense of community with restaurants and bar owners and locals! We got to learn about the culture of Galway through food and lived experiences of Sorcha. Sorcha was very professional and knowledgeable and were so glad we booked this tour!
