This tour is unique as you will see zebra, giraffes, antelopes, and rhinos in their natural habitat. A guide will have done research that morning, so they will know where the animals are, so you will definitely see the animals. The guide will be able to answer questions and explain the animals and habitat to you.

We pick up from any hotel in the Kotu area and travel to Banjul to catch the ferry across the River.

    You will be picked up at your hotel in Gambia. Taken to the ferry port in Banjul where you will cross the river and get into a 4 wheel drive vehicle which will take you into Senegal to the Fathala wildlife park. Passport will be needed to cross the border into Senegal

The whole trip was amazing with Gambia Experience. Well looked after Safari Park, Wardens are very passionate and knowledgeable about their animals. Kevin the Rhino and a week old baby Giraffe were real highlights

We starten de dag met een oversteek met de ferry om in Banjul te komen. Dan moesten we eerst door de douane van Gambia en de douane van senegal. Van daar gingen we met de jeep naar fathala park die ons ook in het park begeleidde. Een wondermooie dag met veel indrukken. De gids deed zijn best om ons zoveel als mogelijk dieren te laten zien (niet altijd makkelijk te vinden) en Pablo van Gambian excursions gaf ons nog eens de meerwaarde om vogels te spotten tussenin. Een prima gids die zijn land en de troeven ervan goed kent. Tevens maakte hij het ons makkelijk om de douane regels door te komen. Ik raad iedereen deze expeditie met gambian excursions aan.
