You will visit a squatter camp and Regina Mundi church, see Nelson Mandela's house and hear stories about the struggle by black South Africans against Apartheid. You also experience 'the better life for all South Africans' starting after the first free elections in 1994.

It was our first day on holiday and we wanted to go straight to Soweto. The tour was hard as it was a lot of ups and downs on old bicycles and rough streets and paths, but it was amazing! What a great way to experience the history of this country and meet the people. People were yelling hello to us as we went by on the bikes and encouraging us as we were going back up the hills. It was an experience we will never forget! Well worth the money and time!

De fietsen waren slecht. Remmen niet goed. De gids kwam onderweg allemaal bekenden tegen en maakte regelmatig contact. Hij had overal vriendjes die weer iets wilde verdienen.

Cycle in Soweto var toppen! Bra återkoppling och kommunikation med Busi, ägare och den person vi bokade med. Underbar guide - Lerato - som frikostigt berättade om allt, och som vi kände oss helt trygga med. Lite jobbigt att cykla i uppförsbackarna och cyklarna var kanske inte i toppskick, men vi fick en oförglömlig dag med ovärderliga intryck. Ta med gott om kontanter av mindre valör då kort inte funkar fullt ut. Rekommenderas varmt!
