Feel the excitement of knowing you are about to take a journey into uncharted areas where it is you and Africa’s most feared creatures by exploring their territory, by their rules. You will be collected from the Hotel by a qualified guide and proceed to the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve that spans an area of 550 square kilometers, the home of the BIG FIVE. Here we will drive around in an open Game Viewer and feel the tension mounting that at any moment just around a corner you could spot a herd of elephant or the king himself the lion or if lucky spot the ever elusive leopard as he lies on a rock or in a tree. The Game drive will last for 6 hours within the reserve and a light lunch at the Pilanesberg Centre will be provided. Duration of the tour is around 12 hours.

Tim was caring for our well-being from the very beginning when he picked us up from our hotel at night to start the safari at the break of dawn. We did the safari in an open jeep together with Joe who knew everything about the animals he spotted earlier on. Meanwhile Tim took pictures with his high-end camera that he then shared with us after the tour. All in all an exciting experience that we will remember well for a long time :)

Wildside Tours and Safaris came recommended and deservedly so. They compiled a superb 7 day itinerary for our party of four which perfectly met our needs. It was a fantastic mix of the peaceful Mziki private reserve, thrilling Pilanesberg National Park and the fascinating African Hills. Our guide, Mike, hosted us faultlessly. He was knowledgeable, keeping us informed and entertained. I now reckon I can tell my nyala from my kudu and I've learnt so much I might apply for a job writing the wrappers for Chappie chewing gum ???? Seriously, Mike was great company; relaxed, kind and genuine. Thank you so much.

We are all blown away after our 2 days with Mr safari himself ..Tim Smith and his rangers /guides. So happy We went with one of Tims tours. If You are looking for the best safari to do …book one with Tim and his company. He Will give u the experience of a life time..! We Did a 2 day tour (one night). Game drive in pilanesberg and then stayed At a beautiful privat Lodge Mziki (where u stay in the middle of a privat property 6000 Ha) The Lodge is a wonderful peacfull calm place with just a fiew bungalows ..the staff working in the Lodge the rangers the chief all Amazing. And if u want u can have a Nice little swim in the pool or relax in front of the camp Fire. We Did game drive both in the evening (with apero and snacks under the stars) and Morning with coffe and homemade cookis out in the wilderness next to a beautiful lake. The natur is Amazing and We saw à LOT of animals. Thank You for making our 2 days Amazing ???????? We Will for sure join again on one of Your tours next time We Will come back to Johannesburg???? lots of love from Jessica and Bert
