Half-day afternoon tour on Zurich lake! We’ll tour the northern part of the lake, close to Zurich: we’ll start off in Wollishofen and head towards Enge and the Old Town. First, we’ll pass the Lion statue by Enge harbor, then we’ll stop by the famous Aquaretum fountain to take some photos. 10 minutes later we’ll enter the Limmat river by going under the Quaibrücke before reaching the Grossmünster on the right and the Fraumünster on the left, our half-way mark. On the way back to Wollishofen we’ll enjoy the astounding views of the Alps in the south and go ashore for a coffee-break in Kilchbergs Mönchhof. Other stops are possible anywhere so you can jump-off the boat, swim or tan or just relax. If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship. Options: -water sports package (wakeboarding, tow-surfing, kneeboarding, tubing) -transfers (else, please make your way to our base in Wollishofen) -Time Extension (1hr)

    3pm: start of tour Total time on the lake is about 2.5 hours and can be adjusted up or down depending on other stops & activities. Lake Zurich. Formed by the river Linth and itself originating from meltwater of Glarus Alps glaciers in the South, the water exits through the river Limmat in Zurich. Fun fact: lake Zurich last froze up in 1963 and this happens only three times per century on average. Its water is so clean and potable that it is fed into the Zurich city water system after only minimal purification.

  • Wasserspiel Aquaretum, Zurich, Switzerland
    Stop by Lion statue at Enge harbour Stop by large fountain just outside Enge harbour Aquaretum. The fountain just outside Enge harbor was designed by artist Andres Bosshard and built by Fischer Architects in 2019 as an update to the previous fountain. It consists of 12 tilted nozzles arranged in a circle producing jets reaching up to 35 m. The jets are directly driven by the weather and by seismic activity worldwide as recorded by ETH Zurich. At dusk and on public holidays LED lights give the fountain a special accent.

I came several times to visit Zurich and i wanted this time to make a different outside activity with my friends ! I wanted to do an activity that changes everything I knew so i started to search online and i found very quickly this boat trip organised by My Swiss Lake Tour. After reading all the nice comments on the services offered, we decided to entrust them with the management of this tour. It was a sunny day so the boat tour sounded like a perfect idea ! Everything was spotless! We had a memorable afternoon! the skipper was super nice, smiling and caring. We were welcomed on a very nice boat, clean and comfortable. The boat handling was very professional with adequate safety rules in place. Even life jackets were proposed to us. We made stops to swim, we relaxed having a drink between friends with the possibility of putting music on board it was excellent !! The afternoon spent on the boat seemed almost too short, we had so much fun! I can only recommend this beautiful boat trip for an affordable price regarding to its high quality! Go for it!

we had a wonderful time on the boat and lake Zurich! Our kids (11 and 5 y) in particular were super excited about the trip. Great service and experience we highly recommend to anyone who wishes to spent a few hours on the lake.
