The Italian Riviera or Ligurian Riviera is the narrow coastal strip which lies between the Ligurian Sea and the mountain chain formed by the Maritime Alps and the Apennines. During this private tour you will get to know the beautiful area of Portofino, where is known to be as the place to live the “dolce vita”, and it is one of the oldest resort areas in Italy. You will discover the most wanderful views of the Italina Riviera with your private official tour guide. Of course you will have some free time (with your guide´s recommendation) for a wonderful Italian lunch before driving back to Genoa. You will have at your full disposal a private vehicle and official tour guide for an 8 hours tour. Important: For groups between 12 to 15 people the driver will drop you off in Santa Margherita and you will arrive in Portofino by ferry since the vehicle cannot access Portofino. Ferry tickets are included in the cost.

Our group of 13 adults arranged for this tour while on our Nov 2022 transatlantic cruise. From start to finish, Maya was a pleasure to deal with in organizing our booking. Our driver Julia and our guide Guglielmo were wonderful. The day was a great success and Portofino is breathtaking! Guglielmo was even able to arrange a restaurant for lunch for all 13 of us. I would recommend Tour, Travel and More and this tour in particular.

We booked the Santa Margherita and Portofino tour during the same cruise where we also booked Roma, Marseilles and Palermo. We have decided to do that at that time because we wanted to take advantage of the opportunities a cruise can give you, which is having dinner and sleep on the boat then wake up the next day in a different city and discover that city, and boy we were right: Especially that we were advised and served by Tour Travel and More, which have been proving, once again to us, that they are so passionate about their business that they oversees your expectations. The tour was excellent and our guide again was very passionate and knowledgeable together with the comfort and cleanliness of the car. Inclusive at a point in time, the road was closed because of a small landslide, and the driver together with our guide proposed a different activity in order not having to wait. We had a wonderful time and felt at all times overwhelmed by all the attention and the kindness of the staff. Thank you again
