It was obvious from the first day of our first tour in Georgia with George in summer of 2019 that George had a goal to make his customers fall in love with his country and he succeeded in reaching this goal on our tour. His attention to detail made a great trip better He is very knowledgeable and has a very passionate about Georgian history which made every site we visited very interesting and full of life .
He was always on time never late , made sure the care was clean , provided us with all what we needed to make our long trips and was a great conversationalist. and was a conscientious driver. The strongest recommendation I can make is to say I we came back again this winter and it was like coming back to visit a dear friend.
Our trip was unplanned ahead and we contacted him in a very short notice , but still he cane to pick us from the airport on time and took us to his family place to spend the night as we couldn’t find hotel rooms as it was the new year’s evening and all hotels were fully booked . Next morning he surprised us with an amazing traditional breakfast or feast with his wonderful family who showed the genuine nature of the Georgian people , very generous , great hospitality and yummy, delicious traditional dishes , it was an honor spending such a special morning with the family in a warm , welcoming home , we will always remember that day .
Tbilisi was simply amazing a mixture of old and new , side by side you see breathtaking ancient castles and epic modern architecture, from the busy Rostavilli road to the serene beautiful view from the cable car above the city .
And from Tiblisi to beautiful Batumi on the black sea where we enjoyed the boulevard walk early in the morning , took a boat trip in the black sea and again in the evening to witness the everyday 7:30 emotional meeting of the famous Ali and Nino statue and listen to their love story that witnessed an important ear of the Georgian history back in the 18th century .
In the evening you can enjoy a great meal at one of many Turkish restaurants downtown
