What to see on the road to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)- Kazbegi (since 2007 renamed Stepantsminda) is the first large settlement on the Georgian side of the Georgian Military Highway. The sights of Kazbegi include natural and architectural monuments that are worth seeing. Old Mount Kazbek is actually an extinct volcano that last erupted 2.5 thousand years ago. Church Gergeti, against the background of Kazbeg is not just a view from a postcard, it is a sight without which it is impossible to say, that a person has been in Georgia. Восьми дневной тур по центральной и восточной Грузии мы провели с Алеко Махарадзе. Проехали пару тысяч километров с прекрасным собеседником, познавая людей, историю, природу! Поражает осведомлённость, мобильность, терпение, открытость и дружелюбие Алеко! Рады что полностью доверились его выбору мест, городов, музеев и достопримечательностей посещённых нами. Ну а улыбки и смех, от его рассказов и анекдотов, не покидали нас. Приехав в эту страну мы приобрели друга. С ним и только с ним будем посещать западную и южную часть Грузии, даст Бог, в следующий приезд. Желаем Алеко здоровья, удачи в нелёгком его деле и конечно щедрых гостей! The trip was well-organized and very interesting. We visited many places and always has enough time to see everything, make photos, etc. The guide was amazing. She has a huge konwledge about Georgia and shared with us many interesting facts. Very recommended!! ;)
