Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Mtskheta, Georgia First stop is former capital of Georgia - Mtskheta, which is beautiful, old town with characteristic architect. In the middle of town there is old (built in 11th century), second biggest and one of the most important cathedral in Georgia. We will walk in the streets of town and visit to the Cathedral. you can try Churchkhelas in our way and buy souvenirs. 60 minutes
Jvari Church, Mtskheta, Georgia After Mtskheta we will drive to Jvari where another ancient (built in 6th century) church is. That place has cpectacular view, where 2 main rivers join each other. We will visit the church, will enjoy the landscape and take photos. 30 minutes
Uplistsiche Cave Town, Gori, Georgia This fascinating and once enormous cave city sits 10km east of Gori above the north side of the Mtkvari River, with expansive views along the Mtkvari valley. Between the 6th century BC and 1st century AD, Uplistsikhe developed into one of the chief political and religious centres of pre-Christian Kartli, with temples dedicated principally to the sun goddess. What you visit today is the 40,000-sq-metre Shida Qalaqi (Inner City), less than half of the original whole. Almost everything here has been uncovered by archaeologists since 1957. In the 2008 Russo-Georgian War, the town came under aerial attack by the Russian Air Force from the outset of the conflict.
