Our guide, George, took us on a tour of Georgian food from the produce on sale at the markets to a sit-down meal in a Georgian restaurant. The tour was very informative and we were introduced to new foods, wines and tastes along with checking out some artisans making and sharpening hand tools like knives, hand saws and axes. Our guide was very informative and also gave us some insights to Georgian culture. The tour covered a wide area of Tbilisi and our tour included car rides between locations. George gave us some recommendations of restaurants to visit which we went and tried the food there. A well organised and terrific tour. Highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Georgian food and wine.
