The day trip Safari with Kostas, our Tour Safety Guide, was a real highlight for us. Kostas welcomed us warmly and accompanied us through the day with enthusiasm and great knowledge. With a lot of joy he brought us closer to his native Crete, answered all our questions openly and competently and made us feel good with his likeable nature. I was particularly impressed that Kostas is also a talented singer, who created an extra atmosphere with his voice. A special experience was how Kostas showed us the diverse plant life of Crete. In addition to oranges, olives, walnuts, avocados and grapes, we also discovered pomegranates as well as herbs such as thyme, oregano and rosemary. This diversity gives the island its special Mediterranean charm. The price-performance ratio of this tour is excellent. You can taste and purchase numerous traditional delicacies from Crete, experience the island’s original, rugged nature, enjoy unique views of the sea from the mountains and meet goats, sheep and chickens in the idyllic landscape. A visit to an Orthodox church and an olive factory complete the program. A delicious lunch in a tavern on a beautiful beach and enough time for a refreshing swim in the sea is also planned. I can fully recommend this tour. Dear Kostas, you deserve even more tips, you do an excellent job and have made us an unforgettable day. Thank you and keep going.

We did the Landrover Tour at Georgioupolis Safari on 29.7.2025 and were very satisfied. Our drivers Nikos and Nektarios were super friendly, in a good mood and could answer any question we had. An hour offroad in the Landrover Defender was definitely an adventure we will be happy to repeat. ES had many local delicacies to taste, which could also be purchased as a souvenir for home. ES is great not to be talked up, but only offered for tasting. At noon you stop at a beautiful, little touristy bay where you can swim and then have lunch. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately a little less than you are used to from Greeks. Overall we had a very nice day, not least thanks to our driver Nikos.
