We will get in touch once you have booked to organise and confirm your specific pick up location & time. Your tour, including your pick up and drop off, is totally customised to suit your timing (the booking system requires a start time, we chose 9.30 as that was frequently chosen).

Cruise Ship passengers are picked up directly from the Port and independent travellers are picked up from your centrally located accommodation. If you would like a pick up from somewhere else, please ask as we will usually be able to help.

    Returning to the city, we will drive along the Harbour’s edge on land raised in the massive 1855 earthquake. If time permits, we will finish off with a drive through historic Thorndon village & a visit to the Botanic Gardens, before dropping you at your preferred location.

What a delight it was meeting smiling Suzee of U-Tours.. instantly felt at home. We were booked on a ‘Full Day Private Tour’ with Suzee We opted for a Scenic Tour away from the city. We spent a fantastic day exploring only the best sites in the region. Enjoyed a drink at a coffee shop where locals mingle, thus providing a glimpse into Wellington lifestyles & its communities. The tour diverted off the beaten track to explore a few hidden gems. Further along appreciated Suzee’s driving on winding road through green hills and valleys. Stopped at vantage points to capture and enjoy the sights. Headed back to Wellington along coastline .. equally as stunning. In a nutshell we spent a fun filled memorable day with Suzee Throughout the tour her conversation and commentary was engaging, pleasantly answered all our questions. She is incredibly patient and informative sharing her wealth of knowledge about Wellington. Highly recommend U-Tours

Suzee was a great tour guide. She called before the event to discuss our plans and desires. She arrived on time at our hotel. She proceeded to shore us some of the nice sites around town, then proceeded out of town to the beach and more. She has several surprises for us during the day that we would not have seen with a larger tour group. Overall, it was a great day. Thank you, Suzee.

We had a wonderful day in and around Wellington with uTours. Within minutes of being collected from our cruise ship it was clear that Suzee would not only be our tour guide but a fun and knowledgeable companion. The trip was geared around our needs and interests but offered so much more. We experienced the area from a locals perspective and it was great - what a lovely city. A highlight for us was a beach walk where we were 'Blown away by Wellington'.
