    Manhyia Palace Museum is the building the British built as a compensation to the Asantes when the Asantes King was returning from exile in Seychelles. The Asantes rejected the offer of the British and rather made payment to the British before using it as their palace. The museum has some things that the accumulated in the past centuries. This was a great tour of Kumasi and Maclean did a good job. We toured on a Sunday which resulted in some museums having delayed opening times (Ghana time) but the order of visits was adjusted to accommodate these changes. Overall, the Prempeh museum was informative and the Okomfo Anokye sword site was interesting. The Manhyia museum was worthwhile and the Kejetia market was amazing. The tour may benefit from a scheduled lunch at a great local restaurant.
