The guide will be waiting for you by the arches at the entrance of Grand Casemates Square.
Grand Casemates Square Grand Casemates Square is the larger of the two main squares within the city centre of Gibraltar. The square takes its name from the British-built Grand Casemates, a casemate and bombproof barracks at the northern end of the square completed in 1817.
The guide will explain the history of the square from the Moorish times to present day.
Also have a look at the 18th century drawbridge which was the only land entrance on and off the Rock for pedestrians during this period.
4JWX+3CG, Landport Tunnel, Gibraltar GX11 1AA, Gibraltar Landport Gate historically was the only entrance into the fortification of Gibraltar. This tunnel was covered by twenty guns making it perilous to attack and safeguarding the British soldiers inside. This tunnel leads to Casemates Square. The original gate is still standing. 5 minutes
Irish Town, Gibraltar Town As you stroll through Irish Town Gibraltar – the narrow street that was once the main thoroughfare and commercial centre of Gibraltar – cast your mind back three hundred years to when it was once known as Calle de Santa Ana. It was dominated by three convents but the peace of this religious fraternity was short-lived, however, when the British captured Gibraltar in 1704 converting the convents of Calle de Santa Ana into military barracks, the street became know as Irish Town since it formed part of the barrack compound where the lower military Irish ranks were housed. During the Great Siege which ended in 1783, in which Spain tried to recapture Gibraltar, most of the old town including the buildings along Irish Town, was razed to the ground. 15 minutes
Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned You will be able to admire the inside of the Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned. 5 minutes
Main Street Then you will walk along Main Street and pass by the Gibraltar law courts and the guide will explain the history and then towards the Anglican cathedral and you will be able to admire this wonderful building.
20 minutes
285 Main St, Gibraltar GX11 1AA, Gibraltar Then you will proceed North towards the British Governor's Residence the Convent and pause whilst the guide will talk about the building and its haunting history. 10 minutes
Trafalgar Cemetery You will then go down towards Southport gates, the exit of the fortifications of the City. You will arrive at the famous Trafalgar cemetery named after the Battle of Trafalgar 1805. The Trafalgar Cemetery occupies a small area of land just to the South of the City Walls in what had been a defensive ditch during the period of Spanish rule of Gibraltar.
The guide will give you some history of this historical site and how the battle of Trafalgar was won just 72 nautical miles from Gibraltar and its connection to Gibraltar.

Complete rip off. Guide did not turn up. Completely spoiled our day in Gibraltar.
If they were not coming why did they not let us know.
We paid extra money to get a taxi to be at the meeting point on time.
Will not use this service again

After a shaky start (only had our booking confirmed about an hour before the start time) we enjoyed a very personal walking tour of the centre of Gibraltar. Our guide was born and bred Gibraltan and passionate about his home giving us a good insight of all the history and offering tips on other places to go, things to see etc. We learned so much in these 90 mins and were thankful it stayed dry!

Our Guide Eddie Homes provided us with a detailed history of Gibraltar during our walk, we were taking to a couple of places that I did know that existed (I have been to Gibraltar many times) Like the art museum he had good knowledge of the artist on display.
We tagged on the Gin tasting to the walk and the was very good.
