Pyramids of Giza, Giza, Egypt The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx are some of the most iconic landmarks in Egypt. The Pyramids, built over 4,500 years ago, are impressive structures made from limestone blocks. The three main pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. The trip was wonderful, Gamal was very informative and helpful. We entered the great pyramid and the pyramid of Saqqara and the open museum at Memphis. Definitely would recommend Mamlouk Excursions
