We were waiting at the hotel front door for picking up for this tour. The tour guide didn’t show up passing the pick up time. Then we found that the tour was canceled while we were asleep at night, nine hours before the departure time. It left us with no other choices because all the Glacier tours from other companies have left for the day, we scheduled to be in town for only one day for this tour and we had booked the flight to fly out of the town the following day. Our hearts turned cold at that moment- is this what we get from flying thousands of miles in to see the glaciers? Thank God, the front desk staff of our hotel helped us call an agent he knows, and found there’s a shorter tour leaving in an hour to see only the one most famous glacier in the region. We couldn’t thank this staff enough for the last minute help.
We were just wondering, when this tour company knew that they would cancel this tour, why couldn’t they introduce us to their partners Tours? It was in slow season, there were openings with other tour groups. Can they think a bit for their customers in addition to making their own profits? This is about business ethics!
