    This tour highlights the history of the 400 year old Lower Fort, later repurposed as a prison and today a cultural center for travelers to experience. You will be getting exclusive access to a Chapel, Kal Kothri (Dark prison cells), jail kitchen and a natural spring.

Visiting Central Jail was just a chance encounter as we were actually looking for Drunken Sailor that is located inside/near the Central Jail. The confusion was we paid to enter the museum without Knowing if the museum was open late evening. Thats when i met Shiv who explained they also do a heritage walk which was done for the day. So next evening i visited the place once again to just attend the Heritage walk. I was so happy since it was a solo and i could get a better view and understanding about the place. Shiv was an excellent guide, explained all about the place and its deep history. I wished i had paid little more attention while studying History during school/college ????

It was a great experience for us as we gained so much knowledge about the history of Goa and also had a nice view of the sea and special thanks to Mr. Shiv (storyteller) who told so much about the history of Goa.
